Officer Tony Lepore has retired from service in 1988 but he keeps returning to the job for 10 days as a reserve police only to entertain crowds. In his prime time, the cop was not just a traffic cop like any other. If there is one guy who thoroughly made the most of his job and entertained himself apart from others, it is Tony Lepore. Since 1984, he has entertained drivers, pedestrians and gawkers dancing off the stress and fatigue while performing his duties as a traffic cop.

Originally the cop danced out of boredom and aggravation from his monotonous job of controlling the traffic and jaywalking pedestrians. The superiors too encouraged him after they received special and positive responses.

After 1992 he has been recruited during the Christmas time for a period of 10 days to perform on the streets of Rhode Island entertaining people. However, he also adds that his body takes a pounding especially after his knee surgery.
