Union Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda has introduced the Railway budget in the Lok Sabha short while ago. This is BJP led NDA government's maiden budget after taking charge and under the leadership of Narendra Modi. Minister Gowda said from every Rupee, 94 paisa has been spent and increase in transport charges declined the profit margin. Gowda proposed private investment in railway infrastructure and sought FDI in everything except operations.
