As expected a petition was filed in the Supreme Court against the ordinance issued in relation to the Polavaram dam. The Government of India last week issued an ordinance, merging of seven mandals into Andhra Pradesh. Lawyer Chandrasekhar Reddy has filed a PIL in the Apex court challenging the ordinance.
