Telangana Governor Grants TSRTC Bill:- Ahead of the coming Telangana elections, BRS chief KCR has taken the most awaited bill of the merger of TSRTC employees into Government. As this monsoon session is the last session of BRS government, KCR tried to move the merger bill. But Soundarajan has a shock for KCR on Saturday, she holded the bill claiming that she needs more time to go through it.

Finally, on Sunday Telangana Governor Tamilsai Soundarajan has granted permission for approval of the merger of TSRTC into Govt under the Absorption of Employees into Government Services Bill 2023. Tamilisai asked for some time on August 3rd and holded the bill. On Sunday with few recommendations the Governor allowed the bill. She has gone to legal suggestions as well.

Tamilisai has recommended the ownership of lands, assets and properties of TSRTC should be with the corporation itself even after the merger of TSRTC into the government. She also recommended completing the process of division of the assets between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to the AP Recognition Act. Governor also recommended clearing the arrears of APSRTC. She also recommended contract employees should get similar benefits and salaries same as permanent employees and also that disciplinary actions should be more humane. In total Tamilisai has ten recommendations and most of them are about the employees and Andhra Pradesh arrears and properties.
