Starvation Deaths Deaths in North Korea:- People are dying in North Korea as the country suffers from the worst food crisis. According to South Korea, the North Korean regime has organized an urgent meeting on the economy and the food crisis raised in the country due to the COVID restrictions. North Korean autocrat Kim Jong Un has directed officials to provide better equipment and scientific techniques for the agriculture field and also ordered to resolve the food shortage in the country. North Korea is facing mass starvation causing to deaths.
According to the reports of BBC, people are dying in North Korea. A family in Pyongyang told to BBC that one of their neighbours, a family of three starved to death, when they knocked on their door to provide some water, they dint open. Authorities went inside and found them dead.
North Korea stopped importing food from China in January 2020, as they closed the international borders as part of their COVID restrictions. They have ordered the guards to shoot anyone whoever trying to cross the border. Almost three-thirds of the food in the local markets used to come from China, which is completely empty now.
People are killing themselves or going into the mountains to die, tells residents of Pyongyang BBC in a secret interview held with the residents. The saddest part is Pyongyang has cut rations even for the soldiers. Their supplies were reduced to 580 grams from 620g. This is the first time in the last 23 years, North Korea facing a huge food crisis.
