YS Jagan Directs Officials to Appoint Arogyamitras across Arogyasri Hospitals:- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy directed the officials to appoint Arogyamitras across all the Arogyasree hospitals of Andhra Pradesh. A system of grading should be implemented for the medical facilities and services offered in the hospitals where Arogyasri is applicable in Andhra Pradesh. YS Jagan wanted the officials to complete the process of appointment to be completed in the next 15 days. YS Jagan reviewed the situation of coronavirus in the state and he discussed about the preventive measures at his camp office.
Health Minister Alla Nani along with Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney and DGP Sawang are present for the review meeting. The Arogyamitras would be made responsible to review the quality of medical facilities along with the infrastructure, medicines available and about the doctors, sanitation and the quality of food. YS Jagan asked the officials to monitor these facilities and made sure that they should be available in the COVID hospitals in Andhra Pradesh. YS Jagan asked the officials to review the performance of the hospitals and 104 call centres by making mock calls on a regular basis.
Every patient who gets admitted in the hospital should be allocated bed in less than half an hour ordered YS Jagan. The regular spike of coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh is slowly coming down from the past one week. Around 6000 new cases are being registered in Andhra Pradesh on regular basis and the total tally crossed 7.3 lakhs by yesterday. Andhra Pradesh is the second most impacted state due to coronavirus after Maharashtra in the country.
