Unlock 5.0: Centre Grants Complete Relaxations:- After the attack of coronavirus pandemic, the entire country was under lockdown. The Centre issued stage wise relaxations for the people of the country. With the availability of daily essentials available, soon the Centre started granting permissions for the non-essentials. As a part of Unlock 5.0, the Centre granted permission to reopen the movie theatres and multiplexes which are closed from the past seven months. All the movie theatres can screen films from October 15th with 50 percent occupancy. All the issued social distancing guidelines should be followed. The new SOPs for the movie theatres would be issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Business to Business exhibitions can now open and the guidelines will be issued by the Department of Commerce. Swimming pools which are used to train the sportspersons can be reopened. Entertainment parks and other similar places will be permitted to reopen and the SOPs will be issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The states and the union territories can take a call on the reopening of schools and coaching institutions and they can take the decison after October 15th. Online teaching will be the best-preferred mode told the Centre.
Any political, religious, sports and entertainment gathering should not have more than 100 persons in attendance outside the containment zones. In closed spaces, 50% of the occupancy is allowed and there should be provision for thermal screening. The Centre told that there would be strict lockdown till October 31st in the containment zones.
