Farmers Continue Protests Across The Nation Against Three Farm Laws

Farmers Continue Protests Across The Nation Against Three Farm Laws:- The Indian Parliament passed three farm laws despite of the protests from the opposition parties. More than a week after the Parliament passed the bills, the protests continued across the country. Farmers came down to the streets back on Monday and staged protests all over. The government continues to be calm and they are not much bothered about the protests. The farmers say that the bills will erode Minimum Support Pirce (MSP). The government says that the new laws will free farmers from the clutches of the middleman. Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh said that the government of Punjab will approach the Supreme Court over these laws. He said that the Centre is not bothered about the protests of the farmers.

Amarinder Singh along with AICC leaders paid tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh at the village of Khatkar Kalan. They have been spotted protesting along with the farmers against the laws. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged that the introduced laws are like a death sentence to the farmers of the country. A tractor was set on fire at the India Gate by a mob of 20 people belonging to the Punjab Youth Congress. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar hit out at Congress against the incident. Hyderabad cops detained the Congress supporters who marched towards the Raj Bhavan. They wanted to submit a memorandum to Governor Tamilsai Soundararajan. Congress leaders were detained in Uttar Pradesh.
