Ayodhya Verdict: Supreme Court Announces Verdict:- The Supreme Court of India pronounced its verdict on Ayodhya case. The Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi kept reading the verdict at 10.30 AM. Here are the highlights of the verdict:

The Supreme Court dismissed the plea of Shia Waqf Board against Sunni board on the claim to Babri Masjid.

Babri mosque was built by Mir Baqi and it is inappropriate for the court to get into theology.

The disputed land is owned by the government as per the revenue records.

ASI (Archaeological Survey of India) credentials are beyond doubt.

Babri Masjid was not constructed on vacant land but on a Hindu structure.

The title of the land can only be decided on the legal evidence.

Ayodhya happens to be the birthplace of Rama and Hindus worship the place. So as Muslims to worship at the Babri Masjid.

Muslims offered prayers inside the inner courtyard and Hindus worshipped in the outer courtyard.

Despite of the obstructions, Muslims continued to offer namaz.

The railings segregated was made in 1857 in the inner and outer courtyard.

Hindus believed that the birthplace of Lord Rama was in the inner courtyard of the mosque.

For 325 years, from the construction of the mosque till 1857, Muslims have given no evidence of offering prayers at the disputed structure.

The mosque was destructed in 1992. Allahabad High Court was wrong in dividing the disputed site.

Alternate land should be allocated for Muslims to erect a new mosque.

The Centre should formulate a scheme in three months to set up a board with trustees to construct the temple.

The Centre will hand over the disputed site to the trustees and land of 5 acres in Ayodhya for Sunni Waqf board.

Justice Kalifulla, Sriram Panchu (ace mediator) and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's roles are appreciated.

Verdict: The entire disputed land is given to Hindus to construct a Ram Mandir. A trust should be formed for this. The court also said that 5 acres of land should be allotted to Sunni Waqf Board to construct a mosque in Ayodhya. The judgment of the Supreme Court came nine years after Allahabad High Court ordered a three-way division of the land between Ram Lalla, Sunni Waqf Board and Nirmohi Akhara.
