YS Jagan's Special Request for Amit Shah:- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been to New Delhi to meet the Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with other ministers. He sought the appointment on Monday but he managed to meet Amit Shah on Tuesday. The meeting went on for over an hour in which YS Jagan had several special requests for the Centre. YS Jagan requested Amit Shah to grant all the pending funds for the state. Along with these, the discussions about Polavaram reverse tendering, Godavari water allocations, bifurcation promises and special status took place between Shah and YS Jagan.

YS Jagan met Amit Shah along with the party MPs in his residence. YS Jagan reminded about granting Special Status for Andhra Pradesh. He said that the state can attract investments only if the state has a special status. The revenue deficit of Rs 18,969.26 crores has been pending from the Centre. YS Jagan also requested for funds for Kadapa steel plant, Ramayanapatnam port, Petrochemical complex in Kakinada. YS Jagan also requested for granting Rs 1050 crores that are pending for the development of seven backward districts of Andhra Pradesh.
