Chandra Babu's Bold Step In Meeting Rahul Gandhi:- Telugu Desam Party decided to walk into the alliance with Congress after it lost grip in Telangana. Stepping ahead, AP Chief Minister and TDP Chief Chandra Babu Naidu met AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi today in New Delhi which left many in surprise. He set aside the complete past and he called it a democratic compulsion. Babu is keen on leaving no chances to take on BJP in the 2019 elections and is keen on joining hands with anti-BJP forces. Even Rahul Gandhi too agreed about a bitter past between the two parties which have been rivals in Andhra Pradesh.

"We decided to leave the past behind. Our agenda is to defeat BJP. We agreed not to speak about our past and will take on BJP. We will just talk about our future" said Rahul Gandhi. Chandra Babu gifted Raul Gandhi with a pink silk stole along with a miniature of a Veena. "We have to save the nation along with democracy and it is a democratic compulsion" said Chandra Babu after meeting Rahul Gandhi. For Congress this will sure be a boost across Andhra Pradesh.
