Hyderabad Twin Bomb Blasts Case: Two Accused Convicted:- The Hyderabad twin blasts in 2007 created a sensation which claimed 44 lives and left 68 injured. The verdict of the Hyderabad twin bomb blasts case has been out today. Two accused have been announced convicted in the case by a local court which pronounced the verdict. Aneeq Shafeeq Sayeed and Ismail Chaudhary have been convicted in the case. The sentence of the punishment will be announced on next Monday. On August 27, Second Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge T Srinivas Rao postponed the judgement to September 4th.

The Telangana Police Counter intelligence Wing investigated the case and arrested five people in connection with the twin blasts who are operatives of Indian Mujahideen. Four charge sheets have been filed and Mohammed Akbar Ismail Chowdhari, Aneeq Shafique Sayeed, Farooq Sharfuddin Tarkash, Mohammed Sadiq Israr Ahmed Shaik, Tarik Anjum have been produced in before court through video conference. Aneeq Shafique Sayeed planted bomb in Lumbini Park and Riyaz Bhatkal blasted a bomb in Gokul Chat. 32 people have been killed in Gokul Chat blast and 47 have been injured. 12 people died in Lumbini Park blast and 21 got injured.
