Centre Says That There Is Nothing To Be Done For AP:- The Centre filed a counter affidavit in the country's top court in response to the affidavit filed by Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy from Andhra Pradesh. The Centre informed the Supreme Court that there is nothing left to be done for the new state Andhra Pradesh. Ponguleti earlier filed affidavit after the promises have been left away after the state's bifurcation. Centre revealed that they followed AP Reorganization Act 2014 and kept all their promises.

Centre ruled out about the Special Status Category status to the state and the conveyed a strong message to Supreme Court. However Centre skipped an explanation about the promised railway zone for Vizag. The Centre promised on developing Duggarajaptnam Port and is working on the possibilities. The Centre revealed that the revenue deficit of AP in the first year was Rs 4116 crores and Rs 3979 crores have been disbursed. The Centre even informed that Rs 2500 crores have been sanctioned for the construction of new capital Amaravati.
