BJP Steps Down For AP's Protests: Key Announcements:- With poor allocations for Andhra Pradesh in the recent Union budget, BJP has been slammed badly by the people along with the politicians across the state. Strong protests made BJP step down and TDP MPs too played a crucial role in the Parliament through their protests. All the parties joined hands and made public protests against BJP and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Several national parties supported TDP in the protest in Parliament. Union Minister Sujana Chowdary held prolonged meetings with Arun Jaitley, Amit Shah and other Union ministers. Here are some of the key announcements made by Centre for the newly formed Andhra Pradesh:

A special package will be allotted in place of Special Status.

A special railway zone for Vishakapatnam has been declared and it will be announced soon.

Centre asked AP to keep all their demands so that they can re-work and announce them.

Special funding for Polavaram project.

Pending funds will be released for AP immediately on priority basis.

A new port will be sanctioned in place of Dugarajapatnam port.

Special compensation for AP Revenue deficit.

Public Private Partnership for Kadapa Steel Plant.
