Yogi Adityanath Protests Against CPI (M) For Targeting BJP Workers:- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath marched in Kerala on Wednesday to voice his protest against the CPI(M) allegedly targeting BJP workers in the State. He said that there was no scope for political violence in a democracy.

Kerala BJP unit president Kummanam Rajashekharan joined Adityanath in the seven-kilometer march. “There is no scope for political violence in a democracy but unfortunately Kerala, God’s own land, is witnessing politically sponsored violence,” Adityanath said.

“With this yatra we will make people aware about the misrule of the CPI(M). People are also coming out in huge numbers in support of this,” he added.

The ‘Jan Raksha Yatra’ (people’s protection march) was launched by BJP President Amit Shah on Tuesday. The yatra which began from from Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s home town in Kannur district, will travel through the state before ending in Thiruvananthapuram on October 17.

Several Union ministers will also participate in the march under the theme of ‘All have to live! Against Jihadi-Red Terror’. Shah, will take part in the rally in Kannur on Thursday. He is on a three-day visit to the state.

A ‘padyatra’ in all State capitals against the CPI(M)’s alleged targeting of his party workers was announced by the BJP Chief. He even questioned Vijayan over the political violence in the State.

Since 2001, as many as 120 BJP workers, 84 in Kannur alone, have been killed in the state with 14 of them in the chief minister’s home town since he took over the reigns last year, alleged the BJP.
