Terror attack in Barcelona leaves a Dozen Dead

Terror attack in Barcelona leaves a Dozen Dead: Spain has been targeted several times in the recent times and a series of terror attacks shattered the country in all the ways. The recent terror attacks on Thursday made Spain stand in news once again. A van rammed into the crowds in Barcelona which killed more than a dozen and injured many. The incident took place in Las Ramblas district and this attack has been planned by ISIS. During a warm summer afternoon, Barcelona has been packed with tourists as it is a peak vacation season.

Over 15 suffered serious injuries informed the cops and hundreds have been injured. Joaquim Forn, the interior minister of the Catalan regional government revealed the updates calling the incident unfortunate. Joaquim Forn said that the death toll may raise and over dozen have been spotted dead.  The cops arrested two men in relation with the attack out of which one is a Spanish citizen and the other hails from Morocco.  The tourists screamed with pain and unfortunately most of the injured have been not from Barcelona or Spain.

A second attack too has been planned during the early hours of Friday which too has been planned by ISIS. The attack has been planned in Catalan town of Cambrils which is located 60 miles south west from Barcelona. All the four suspects have been spotted and killed. The fifth one died later after he attacked the cops and was shot. The cops did not reveal any information about the suspects who were killed. The Spain television channels showed several videos of cops speeding across the van which was the reason behind the attack. "Terrorists will never defeat a united people who love freedom in the face of barbarism," Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy wrote via Twitter as he rushed to Barcelona.
