RGV Trashes Film Chamber For Letter On Drugs:- Super talented director Ram Gopal Varma never hesitates to reveal his view on anything. He takes social media to express his views which always sound controversial. The ace director has been struggling for a hit however he is quite focused on the ongoing drug enquiry which named several Tollywood celebrities. Puri Jagannadh, Ravi Teja, Subba Raju, Charmme, Mumaith Khan, Navdeep, Tarun, Tanish, Nandu, Srinivas Rao, Shyam K Naidu and Chinna are the 12 celebrities who have been issued notices. They have been asked to appear before Special Investigation Team (SIT) and the investigation has been wrapped up. None of the Tollywood celebrities agreed that they consumed drugs in public and even the Special Investigation Team (SIT) did not confirm the news.
It is during this time the Telugu Film Chamber and Tollywood stepped out with a letter seeking apologies from Telangana chief Minister KCR. This created a huge stir across Tollywood circles. The letter showcased the apologies from KCR and requested the Telangana government to conduct the investigation in a manner that will not expose the names of celebrities to the public and the media. It is during this time, Ram Gopal Varma took out on Film Chamber for their apologies.
He asked how could Film Chamber ask apologies before the government or SIT confirming that the celebrities took drugs. He said that he has been ashamed of the letter written to KCR and it is the court who will decide on this. He slapped Film Chamber with a strong message.
