LeT Militants Kills 6 Cops; Mutilates Faces With Bullets:- The Lashkar-e-Taiba or LeT militants have once again showed their disgraceful nature by killing six cops  and mutilating the faces with bullets on Friday at Thajiwara village in Achabal town of Anantnag district.

The attack occurred as a reaction to the killing of LeT militant Junaid Mattoo, who had been killed elsewhere in the Anantnag district. The militants who were heavily armed attacked the the police personnel and has killed them including the SHO of Achbal police station, Feroz Ahmad Dar.

The policemen were found in a situation beyond recognition as the militants fired at the policemen even after the death all over their body. According to a senior police official, it was the first terror attack on the security forces since the eruption of militancy in the valley in 1990.

The LeT have already claimed the responsibility for the killing of six cops, including the SHO of Achbal along other five constables, Tasveer Ahmad, Sharaz Ahmad, Shariq Ahmad, Mohammad Asif and a SPO Sabzar Ahmad.

According to a leading newspaper all the cops were on barricade duty after the inputs of the movement of terrorists. A dozen of militants attacked the police and even looted their weapons. They also issued warning to other policemen.

Security forces, earlier, had killed Mattoo along with Muzammil in Arwani village of Bijbehara in Anantnag district of south Kashmir on Friday.
