Minister for irrigation D. Uma Maheswara Rao addressed a press meet at the NTR Bhavan in Guntur on Thursday. There he stated that "YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy lacked the qualification to lead the Opposition."
The minister also said that "it would be better if he quit his post." Mr. Rao also alleged that "Mr. Reddy had looted public money during Congress rule and demanded that he return the loot to the state government."
The minister alleged that "Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy looted public money to the tune of Rs 1,00,000 crore during his father Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy’s rule and was now trying to turn Rs 10,000 crore black money into white under Income Disclosure Scheme. Mr. Reddy was the person who alleged disclosed black money to the tune of Rs 10,000 crore."
Mr. Uma Maheswara Rao suspected that "there was thousands of crores of black money in Bengaluru and Idupulapaya and demanded Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy to come clean. He also condemned the allegations and criticism by YSRC leaders against TD national secretary N. Lokesh."
