Woman attacks Kejriwal with ink

While Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was delivering a speech at a public meeting in Chhatrasal Stadium, in the city, suddenly, a woman threw ink at him.

Regarding the successful implementation of odd-even scheme in the city, the government officials had conducted a thanksgiving rally. It was in the same programme, the incident took place.

Reportedly, after the woman rushed towards the dais and threw ink at Kejriwal, immediately, security personnel rushed to drag away the protesting woman from the stage, where Kejriwal was standing, and she was detained.

On the other side, throughout the episode, Kejriwal maintained mum and asked the police to leave the woman and said, “Leave her; she is talking about some scam. Please take that paper from her, she is mentioning some CNG scam.”

Reacting to the incident, AAP leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia alleged that, BJP was behind the incident.

“The whole incident was scripted by the BJP with the help of the Delhi Police,” he said.

The woman has been identified as Bhavna, she claimed to be worker of "Aam Aadmi Sena" a group that has been formed by party rebels.

"The Delhi government is behind a CNG scam in the name of odd-even plan. I have proof of the scam on CD. I had asked for an appointment from the chief minister but wasn't given time," she alleged.

The woman was taken to the Model Town police station and the police interrogated her over the issue.

It is to be noted that, during Anna Hazare times, in 2013, Kejriwal was a victim of ink attack and even at that time, Kejriwal blamed BJP, for such attack. It should be seen, how Delhi officials counter the Centre, regarding the latest attack.
