Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal busted on the CBI saying that, they have read DDCA (Delhi and District Cricket Association) file, present in his office, which is not at all related to Rajendar Kumar.
Yesterday, Kejriwal made tweets saying that, CBI made raids in his office and even criticized the Centre on the issue. But both CBI and Centre, denied the allegations of Kejriwal, saying that, they have not raided Delhi CM’s office and just searched the office of a senior bureaucrat, who was caught taking bribe, last week.
Along with the social networking sites with the hashtag #ArvindvsModi, the issue even went viral among the officials, which led to a huge rivalry between Centre and state government leaders, yesterday. It seems the heat of it is still continuing on the second day.
Proving the same, Kejriwal had tweeted, “CBI kept reading DDCA file in my office. They wud hv seized it. But after my media briefing, they left it. Not clear if they took a copy.”
Not stopping there, he even raised controversy on Arun Jaitley, making another tweet, “Why is Jaitley ji so scared of DDCA probe? What is his role in DDCA scam?”
It was the third tweet that raised several doubts on the raids. It is to be recollected that, CBI said, that it is searching principal secretary Rajender Gupta’s office, for the possible proofs. But how come DDCA got connected to his case?
The same was raised by Kejriwal in his third tweet. He tweeted, “Docs seized from my office. No relation to allegations being probed. Item 7 -file movement register of last one month.”
Yesterday, after CBI raids, Kejriwal said that, there are few financial irregularities, when Jaitley was the president of DDCA for 13 years, till December, 2013. May be to manipulate the same DDCA files, present in my office, he sent CBI over there.
Not surprising many, Jaitley called these allegations as ‘absolutely rubbish’ and opined that, he need not comment on such rubbish allegations.
On the other side, AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj said, “There are rumors about widespread corruption in DDCA. Mr Jaitley was heading it for a long time. There were documents in the chief minister's office on this, as Mr Kejriwal takes care of all important documents, inquiries and vigilance documents."
He further put an open challenge to produce at least a single document linked to Rajender Kumar's alleged corruption in the CM’s office.
The issue is expected to go more viral in the coming days and it seems, there are more chances for the Centre, to get cornered in the issue.
