YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy criticizes Telangana Chief Minister KCR, as a part of Warangal by-polls campaigning.
From the beginning, there are no instances, where Jagan and KCR, criticized each other. As their common enemy is Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, without knowing, the duo supported each other, in several issues.
In fact, before the formation of the governments in both the Telugu states, KCR opined that, Jagan would be winning in the elections and even Jagan said that, KCR is going to rule the Telangana state.
In Telangana MLC elections, knowing YSRCP has no chance to win, it stayed calm, giving indirect support to TRS, for surpassing TDP. Even Naidu busted on both the oppositions that, they have joined the hands and trying to corner him.
As neither KCR nor Jagan, has criticized each other, for long time, even the public believed Naidu’s comments to be true. But maybe Jagan might have felt that, if he stays silent, and gives indirect support to KCR, he might never get into the form in Telangana state.
So, though YSCRP is away from the MLC elections, it is now gearing up to contest in Warangal bi-elections in Telangana. So to contest, that too in Telangana, any party should criticize the government in the state, with no other option left. Following the same, Jagan finally criticized KCR, in the campaigning.
Speaking at the meeting, Jagan said, “KCR had promised to give 3 acres of land to the poor, but till date only 1600 acres land was given. He even promised double bedroom houses. But even after 18 months of the formation of the government, he could only provide 896 houses.
“Moreover, KCR is not concerned about the farmers in the state and that is the result of hundreds of farmer suicides. Only in Warangal, more than 150 farmers have committed suicide”, Jagan said.
“Though, the Centre has promised to give the special package to Telangana, it could not keep its promise. At that minute, if MPs had resigned and conduct bi-polls, that would have been fair. But the present elections in Warangal, is just out of KCR’s selfish attitude,” he added.
“Late YS Rajashekar Reddy has implemented several welfare programmes in the United AP and so only YSRCP has right to ask the votes in Warangal,” Jagan said.
At the time, where YSRCP is considered as ‘out of question’ party in Telangana, how far this range of busting on KCR, works out, is questionable.
