The Telangana state (TS) government is setting up unique rules to determine the local status of the individuals, so that every local person, would be benefitted.  
 
Regarding this, the government is concentrating on the fee reimbursement scheme first. The students who studied for four out of seven years in Telangana, before getting admitted into degree or PG courses, can avail the fee reimbursement scheme from the Telangana government.  
Where as, in jobs case, the aspirants must have done their schooling from 4th class to 10th class, to get Telangana government job.  
 
Recently, the power utilities department has announced vacancies, in the engineering posts. In this recruitment, the officials are following the new method and thus the job aspirants are required to bring a fresh nativity certificate, issued by the Telangana state government.  

The Telangana government is opining that, if the local status issue is strictly followed, all the natives of Telangana would be benefitted.  
 
A few of the recruitment agencies asking only the date of birth and SSC certificate from the  candidates, as local status proof, along with the nativity certificate, is further adding credence to this argument. However, the officials are maintaining mum on the issue.

Speaking about the issue, TS Transco/ Genco CMD D. Prabhakar Rao said that, the power utility jobs notification is in accordance with the TS local status norms and this is being followed by other recruitment agencies too.

Right justice to Telangana movement is TS local status!

It is not new to know that, from the various parts of the country, people come to Hyderabad to study and also for employment. The number is big from Andhra Pradesh and in fact, the AP people have become a part of Telangana state for decades.

Due to this, a few of the Telangana people felt that, due to AP people, their employment opportunities are getting lesser. This is one of the significant factors, to raise the Telangana movement and finally, after thousands of protests and number of deaths, the then central government, Congress, declared Telangana as the separate state.
 
Since then, the AP people have been finding tough, to stay in the state, as Telangana government is very particular in giving the special importance to Telangana residents itself.

The Telangana movement intention is to make sure that, only Telangana people are benefitted in the state and the government should be appreciated for its interest on the local people of the state.
