The TRS government has decided to hike the salaries by 39% to the RTC employees, however, the proposal is expected to have much more changes when it is taken to those employees.
In a meeting with the financial department on Monday, the ministers decided to announceĀ 39 % of hike in salaries to RTC employees. The proposal is yet to be taken to the concerned employees.
Along with Naayini Narasimha Reddy, Eetela Rajendar and Patnam Mahendar Reddy, other 2 leaders Jagedheeshwar Reddy and Talasani Srinivasa Yadav were also added as the members to sort out a solution for the issue soon.
Situations in the state after the hike:
In the meeting held on Monday, the officials started analyzing about the various measures in hiking the salaries. They said hike up to 39% would not be a big issue. On the other hand PRCĀ is announced for every 5 years to government employees, whereas for RTC, the salaries will be revised for every four years. It also analyzed that RTC is already running with Rs.1700 crores as loss.
All these issues, along with the demands of the RTC employees are taken to KCR. The officials are going to be assembled for a meeting with CM on Tuesday. Though the hike was proposed as 39%, after meeting with CM, officials are expecting the hike to rise to 40%.
AP government is bound to follow TRS :
If this is confirmed, then another Rs.300 crores loss is to be borne by Telangana RTC. On the other hand, if TRS government confirms to 40% hike, then AP government is left to no choice and is bound to follow Telangana government and announce the same.
Will unions accept this proposal :
But Telangana Mazdoor Union leader E. Ashwatthama Reddy has already announced that there is no question of dropping the strike unless 43% hike is announced. Now, will the union compromise to 40% or not is a question now.
