Eversince BJP formed government in the National capital, it has been pushing its leaders to make less with government's money and lead a simple life. All the Central ministers were time and again asked tighten their expenses and restricted from few provisions. Flying in economic class and few diktats have been issued by the government.

However, on the other side of the coin, we got to know that BJP MPs are staying in lavish hotels in Delhi on the expenses of government. As per an RTI report, till November 15,2014, 92 MPs, majority of them are from BJP, have been living at the Ashoka Hotel in Delhi since their elections inspite of allotting government accommodation. This report stated that some of the ministers stayed in hotels for six to seven months and the expenses would go to crores in bills.  

Ironically, few BJP MPs claim that the data produced is outdated and have done nothing wrong. This is a major embarrassment to the BJP government, especially to Prime Minister Narendra Modi who promised good governance.
