The ruling Telugu Desam Party and opposition YSR Congress party had a verbal in war Assembly today over the rules and regulations of the house. The BC Declaration Bill was the sole reason for the fight as the bill was introduced in Assembly with prior notice. But YSRCP claimed that government did not give any notice to the opposition party and without any notice the bill was introduced and passed in an undemocratic way.
The Leader of Opposition [LoP] YS Jagan said Speaker did not give an opportunity to talk about the bill and as we were asking about a chance to talk, the bill got passed in the Assembly. This is an unconstitutional and undemocratic process but anyways we will support the BC Declaration Bill. Assembly Affairs minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu in reply to Jagan's allegations said, today morning we gave notice to honorable Speaker and as per the rules, we introduced the bill and there is nothing wrong in it. Assembly speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao too supported the government and added that as the government notified me about the bill, I have directed Assembly Secretary to inform about the bill to the main opposition in the House. YSRCP MLAs did not mention Jagan's name in the list of speakers who wanted to express their views in the bill.
Irked by this Jagan kept on making allegations on government and accused Speaker of being biased. At one point of time, Jagan and Yanamala got involved in exchange of words however, Speaker intervened in this issue.
