In a sensational incident at Parliament, Trinamool Congress party MPs have encroached Telugu Desam Party chamber this morning which created a huge ruckus. Trinamool MPs stormed into the TDP chamber and removed the name plates of MPs Sujana Choudary and Thota Narasimham. Later they sat down in the chamber and did not move an inch despite requests from TDP MPs.
However, Trinamool Congress MPs say that this chamber has been alloted to their party and TDP MPs were informed to vacate the block on several occasions. TDP claimed that they are in this chamber for the past three decades and can't move out. Nevertheless, TDP MPs have failed to request Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan who has alloted this chamber to Trinamool Congress.
As the Trinamool Congress Parliamentarians were not moving out of the TDP chamber, Sujana Choudary complained to Parliament Affairs minister Venkaiah Naidu and he assured to look after the matter.
Whatever it is, MPs behavior standards are degrading in every sessions.
