Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar said his government will not compromise on anything which will benefit the people and this is just the beginning of his governance. Addressing the media after the six hours long cabinet meeting, KCR has said the government has given nod for farm loan waiver, special privileges to the martyrs families, Rs 1000 crores for minorities and over 43 topics are discussed in the meeting.
KCR reported that in the last decade or so, every scheme of government did not reach the people but it filled the pockets of mediators. “Irrigation project funds went to the contractors, scam in physically handicapped pensions, scam in housing for the middle class and there are many such schemes where the government funds went in vain. In our government, every penny will be spent on people and as promised the government will construct and allot two bedroom house to the beneficiaries,” said KCR.
On government lands which were encroached, KCR added that the officials will do re-survey and will take back Bhoodan lands, Wakf lands, endowment lands and ENT lands. A Wakf Tribunal to protect land would also be set up.
War with Centre
CM KCR is also determined that he won't support the idea of Governor getting involved in governance and also announced that he will hit hard back at the Central government. “Giving special powers to Governor is disgrace to the government of Telangana and we won't support this idea at all. The government is ready to fight with Centre,” added KCR.
