JOBS: 1203 Constables and Drivers posts in CSIF

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is established in 1969 to offer integrated security service to the public sector undertakings (PSU) that covers airports, sea ports, power plants, space establishments, sensitive Govt buildings, nuclear installations, heritage monuments and other critical infrastructure installation.  

CISF invites applications from Indian male candidates eligible for the posts of Constables and Drivers in the prescribed forms on or before July 19, 2014.  The time is extended to 26th July to those in North East region.

Out of total No.of 1203 posts of Constable/Drivers, 1051 are backlogs and 152 are current vacancies out of which 323 are reserved for Ex Servicemen.

Pay Scale- Rs.5200-20200+AGP Rs.2000/- per month+ usual and admissible allowances.

Educational Qualifications- Matriculation or equivalent form recognized Board.  Valid driving license for heavy motor vehicle or transport vehicle, light motor vehicle and Motor Cycle with gear.

Age limit- Between 21-27 years as on 19th July 2014.  Age relaxation applicable as per the rules.

Application Fee- Rs.50/- for general and OBC candidates to be submitted by postal order.  SC, ST and Ex Servicemen exempted from paying the application fee.

Selection Process- Eligibility test, physical efficiency test, trade test and written test, medical examination and final selection.

How to apply- Prescribed application duly filled in the format given in the notification along with DD, recent passport size photograph self attested, Attested copies of all the required certificates/documents, attested copy of driving license, 2 self addressed envelops of 8x19 Cms size with stamps of Rs.22/- each affixed on them and superscribed “Application for the post of Constable/Driver in CISF 2014”, to be submitted to the concerned DIG.
