As Narendra Modi will be swearing as Indian Prime Minister, many BJP leaders are very eager to know about their cabinet berth. So far the BJP leadership maintained every bit of cabinet news as a secret and from today morning, MPs who are selected for the ministry post are getting calls. The selected MPs are also advised not to reveal the news to friends and media.
As per the latest reports, no more than 17 or 18 Cabinet rank ministers are expected in Modi's crew and all of them are likely to be aged below 75 years. However, senior most leaders of BJP are expected to get Lok Sabha speaker post and few important posts in the government.
It is also in the air that, Modi will expand his cabinet crew after proving the trust vote in the Parliament. BJP's articulate spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman, Ravi Shankar Prasad, General VK Singh, Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley, Nitin Gadkari, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Shourie are confirmed for cabinet. Shiv Sena, TDP MPs are likely to swear-in today along with Modi.
