Post election results, things are getting slowly settled down and now all eyes are on the cabinet to be selected. Leaders from BJP at the center level, TDP for the Andhra Pradesh state and TRS MLAs are doing hectic lobbying for the cabinet berths and are meeting party's top leaders respectively.
Yesterday the going to be Prime Minister Narendra Modi met BJP senior leader LK Advani at his residence and discussed about the cabinet berths. Sources say that Modi and Advani have zeroed upon few MPs who serving the party since very long time. Modi is also deliberating to take allies into the cabinet but is very selective in picking the right candidate. The discussions will continue on Monday too and the list of cabinet members will be prepared by Wednesday added an insider.
Meanwhile, newly elected TDP MLAs met Chandrababu Naidu yesterday at his residence and aspirants of cabinet berth have sent a small message to the TDP Chief requesting to consider their name. Many senior leaders in the party are confident of getting the cabinet slot while the new comers are keeping their fingers crossed.
On the other hand in TRS party, leaders are in dilemma as KCR being unpredictable. However, party sources say that senior leaders who serving the party since its inception are definitely going to be inducted in the cabinet while the freshers who joined party before the elections are likely to be ignored. KCR wants to take some time and select his crew carefully and at the same time pacify the MLAs who missed out.
Anyways, the union cabinet will be decided in couple of days and by this weekend we will see new faces too. Coming to the state level cabinet berths, we have to wait and see!
