The Andhra Pradesh Federation of Petroleum Traders has called for a indefinite strike from today with the Government raiding the Petrol stations. The Union president Prabhakar Reddy has accused the government of harassing the owners of the petrol stations in the name of raids and so in protest have called for a strike.
“Till the government stops these raids, we will continue our strike. It is not our responsibility of automated machines, Infact the Oil companies are responsible for this. Whatever machines they suggest, we will install and use them,” added Prabhkar Reddy.
With the petrol stations went for sudden strike, motorists faced huge difficulties and poured down in heavy numbers at the petrol stations which were open. As of now, the government hasn't made any statement in this issue.
