Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has hinted that he would take up the Prime Minister seat, if the party elects his name for the post. Rahul said he is an soldier of the Congress party and would do anything for the party if it demands him to do. Rahul comments are strengthening and interesting as Congress will be holding a AICC meeting this Friday to decide on Congress and UPA government's Prime Ministerial candidate for 2014 general elections.

Rahul Gandhi is also confident that Congress party will retain the power in 2014 elections. So far only two names have been in consideration for the PM post from Congress party but the senior most leaders are also expecting their names however did not make any public statements so as to wait an official announcement from the high command.

BJP was unavailable to comment on this but are ready enough to take on Rahul Gandhi. Modi factor is currently running high levels of energy in BJP which has pinned high hopes for 2014 elections.
