Intelligence Bureau's View Point on State Bifurcation

The Chief of Intelligenc Bureau Syed Asif Ibrahim says that the AP State bifurcation and formation of Telangana as 29th State poses new challenges to the IB. He says that the problem is not limited to the Andhra Pradesh but a security threat to entire nation.

A conference is going on at New Delhi with all DGPs and IGPs of the country to discuss the status of the security in the country and the measures to be taken in future to address the challenges.  The conference is inaugurated by the Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde.

The Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy also has been telling the same thing in his speeches, in his letter to the Prime Minister and the President and also in the reports he submitted to the Group of Ministers. As per the reports, he says, Most of the Maoist leaders belong to Telangana region.

The Intelligence Bureau that was created in 1947 by the Union Home Ministry is the oldest organization.  The Bureau completed 125 years this year.
