Mopidevi Venkata Ramana former Minsiter of AP and a senior leader of Congress party joined YSR Congress party today.  

Mopidevi went to YS Jagan's residence at Lotus Pond and joined the party formally. On the occasion Mopidevi talked to the media persons.  He said that the ruling party that could not stand before Jagan played politics and jailed Jagan. 

Mopidevi on whom CBI filed charge sheet in the case of Jagan’s disproportionate assets complained that the congress party leaders particularly Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy did not bother when he was arrested and facing all legal problems.  He said that that is the reward he got for serving Congress party for 25 years. 

He narrated how Ministers like Panabaka Lakshmi and Kondru Murali pressurized him and his brother to go against Jagan.
