The activists of Samaikyandhra had been making attempts since yesterday to seize the residence of PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana. The attempts are intensified after the announcement of the Cabinet approval of the Telangana State formation.
The residence of Botsa Satyanarayana at MG Road in Vizianagaram was seized by the activists. When the police tried to foil their attempt by using lathi charge, they fought back with stones and damaging the police vehicles.
The police had to use teargas shells on 13 occasions since Friday morning.
The Camp office of Botsa in Garividi was attacked and damaged by the samaikya activists.
