Pressure is on Seemandhra MLAs now

As the word is passed and taken for granted that the Cabinet Note is ready on Telangana and can be presented in the Cabinet any time from today evening's meeting, pressure has shifted now from the MPs and Union Ministers to MLAs.

Secretariat employees belong to Seemandhra protested in front of C block of the Secretariat stating that their support will be only to the leaders supporting integrated State of Andhra Pradesh.

A meeting that lasted for over one hour between Seemandhra MLAs and Chief Minister to discuss the plan of action to pressurize the Center.  10 Ministers and 25 MLAs participated in the meeting.  Before that, 14 Ministers, 37 MLAs and 11 MLCs met in the Ministers’ residential quarters in Hyderabad.

APNGO Association President Ashok Babu said that the association wants to write open letters to the MLAs to voice against the bifurcation of the State.   He demanded that the plan of action of the MPs and Union Ministers to stop the bifurcation process in the Parliament should be revealed and the plan of action of the activists of Samaikyandhra depends on that.

Now the responsibility of opposing the proposal of State bifurcation lies on the shoulders of the MLAs, as it finally comes to the Assembly for passing a resolution.  And if it is done so, it will be doing against the wishes of the congress party.  If it is not done the wrath will be on the MLAs.

In the meanwhile Home Minsiter Sushil Kumar Shinde says that the Cabinet Note is readied but not signed.
