Pensioners' Accounts Credited

As the Seemandhra Treasury employees are on strike, The Government has arranged to credit pension amounts of the retired employees of Seemandhra directly in to their accounts.

Many commended the move of the Government and its concern about the retired employees.  As the Treasury employees are not attending duties, Government came into an agreement with some of the Banks with the help of whom the accounts of the pensioners were credited with the amount equal to what they received in the previous month.

Out of 3.08 lakhs of pensioners, 2.46 lakhs of them already got their pension amounts credited in to their accounts.  The remaining pensioners are having accounts in other Banks than the Government came in to an agreement.  The finance department said that the remaining pensioners also will get their pension amount within a day or two after identifying them with the help of other Banks.

Out of the Seemandhra employees, only Police Department received full salaries as their salary bills were received.  As remaining employees of other departments like Law Department are on strike at some of the places that are making delays in getting salary bills from them.
