Ashok Singhal of Viswa Hindu Parishat demanded construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya to be initiated from Parliament.  

Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samiti public meeting was held at Nizam College grounds on Sunday in which Singhal demanded that a resolution be passed in the Parliament for the construction of Ram Mandir and for the abolition of cow slaughtering.  He said that the Governments are hurting the feelings of Hindus by total ignoring their feelings.  He also said the temples and the culture of Hindus should be protected.  

Among others, the founder of Sri Peetham, Paripurnananda Saraswati Swamy also spoke about the rich Hindu tradition.
