The YSR Congress Party President who was on hunger strike for the past four days in the Chanchalguda jail where he was under judicial custody in the case of disproportionate assets in his possession became weak last night as sugar levels came down.
He was transported to Osmania Hospital under heavy security. The hospital was thoroughly checked hours before shifting him to the hospital for treatment. Every nook and corner of the hospital was checked by the bomb squad and all the patients and visitors’ genuineness was thoroughly checked verified their bona fides.
Jagan is continuing his fasting in the hospital also.
YS Jagan started fasting in the jail on the day his mother YS Vijayamma’s fasting in support of Samaikyandhra movement, was broken forcibly when police foiled it at midnight. Afterwards she started her protest at Jantar Mantar Delhi and questioned the Government of India through media how Hyderabad can be given to Telangana people.
