Famous actress Manjula (60) passed away today at Chennai in Ramachandra Hospital. Manjula acted as a child artist in Shanti Nilayam. She acted in a total of 100 films in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.
Manjula was wife of the famous Tamil actor Vijay Kumar. She had three daughters one of whom is Sridevi acted in Telugu. Manjula’s husband Vijay Kumar also acted in many Telugu films.
Manjula’s last movie in Telugu was “Vasu”. She acted with Tamil veteran heroes M.G.Ramachandran and Shivaji Ganeshan. She acted with NTR, ANR and Shobhan Babu in Telugu. In her last Telugu movie “Vasu” she played mother to Venkatesh.
Entire film industry expressed shock for the sudden demise of Manjula.
