AP Working Journalists Forum members from all over the State took out a rally today in Hyderabad to bring their problems to the notice of the concerned authorities. They demanded Job security, house sites, accreditation and wages as recommended by Justice Gurubux Majithia. They also demanded the pension schemes as prevailing in the States of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Odisha. They demanded that a commission to be appointed to study the problems faced by the Journalists.
The rally started from Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram to end at Indira Park in which former Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy also participated along with the President of the forum Basava Punnaiah and General Secretary G.Anjaneyulu.
After reaching Indira Park they held a meeting there in which the leaders spoke on the problems faced by the Journalists after which they submitted a memorandum to the Minister for Information and Public Relations D.K.Aruna.
