The Beach Festival conducted at Surya Lanka near Bapatla was concluded.  The two day festival was opened by the Union Minister for the State Panabaka Lakshmi on Saturday.  The second and final day celebrations were visited by the Union Tourism Minister Chiranjeevi and PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana.

The festival was also attended by the Union Deputy Finance Minister JD Seelam, State Ministers Kanna Lakshmi Narayana, Krishna Reddy, Vatti Vasantha Kumar and MLA Gade Venkata Reddy and others.  

Speaking on the occasion Chiranjeevi revealed that the Center is granting a fund of Rs.500 crores for the development of the State tourism this year.  He said that Rs.221 crores were already released by the Center so far during 6 months since he took charge of the ministry.  He said that employment opportunities will increase with the development of tourism.
