CPI Narayana writes to CM against dubbing serials

After so much of buzz and opposition on the dubbing movies, political parties apparently raised curtains to new discussions as if there weren't any other problems in the state. Yes, CPI state secretary Narayana, who earlier raised his voice over the same, has finally written a letter to the chief minister. He has urged the chief minister to ensure that dubbing serials are not telecast on Telugu channels. It may be noted that for over a decade many Tamil serials were being telecast on some channels. Recently Hindi dubbed serials too crawled into the television.

So, the politicians claim that this not only effects the language but even narrows the scope to earn bread and butter to Telugu artistes. While there could be some point in these arguments, not to forget the way iconic Tipu Sultan, Mahabharata, Ramayanam and Chandrakanta were dubbed into Telugu from Hindi and became super hit serials in Telugu too. So, the observers felt that this issue can be overlooked given the current issues, which are more burning in the state.
