TDP MLA's high drama on the assembly premises came to a halt last mid night when the police finally lifted them from there. Minutes before that, the general lighting at the assembly was turned off so that the MLAs vacate the assembly. However, the agitating legislators were determined to stay over there, which finally made the police plunge into action and made them vacate.
The observers said that it would be a tougher task for the police to provide security when legislators behave so adamantly. They even mentioned that it would always be welcomed if they (legislators) raise issues but there's a proper channel for the same. If legislators itself violate the rules, then what about the common person, they questioned. All in all, the party chief Chandrababu Naidu might have certainly made a point in apparently making his MLAs stage protest on Assembly premises but then he had presumably send across wrong signals that MLAs were not maintaining discipline, they opined and added that yesterday's high drama could have been avoided.
