After Controversy, Now it's Piracy!

Two persons were arrested along with pirated DVDs worth Rs 5.14 lakh which were recovered after the Fraud and Misappropriation wing officials of the CCB raided the shop.

To say more, The Central Crime Branch (CCB), a special investigation wing of the Bangalore city police, raided a shop at Indiranagar on Monday and seized pirated DVDs of films including the recently released Kamal Haasan-starrer Vishwaroopam and that the accused were selling DVDs of Vishwaroopam, Talash and Race 2 among others which would be sold in open market for a throwaway price of Rs 40 to Rs 50 per DVD according to the police.

Moreover, the items including 1,145 Tamil movie DVDs, 2,175 English movie DVDs, 360 Telugu movie DVDs and 425 Hindi movies along with 490 adult movie DVDs were seized and a case has been registered in Indiranagar against them for further investigations.

It's really a pain for creativity when it gets pirated!
