Great Indian epic 'Ramayana' now in Polish!

It is true, 'What is beautiful, is joy for ever', something that is good brings joy to all. Great Indian epics have been translated into various global languages due to their prophesies on importance of human relations and values to have a harmonious family which in turns delivers a prosperous society.

Now Ramayana is available in Polish language, due courtesy to Janusz Krzyzowski, an Indologist in Poland.

Though many westerns writers have burnt their fingers in trying to write the Polish versions, this was the first completed translation that too by a Polish writer.

The writer was much impressed by the Indian epics Ramayana and Mahabharatha and in general India. In fact he is the President of the India-Poland Cultural Committee since its inception in 2004.

Krzyzowski's other Indian books were on Ashoka, Tansen, Mir Taqi Mir, Mirza Ghalib, Firaq Gorakhpuri, Faiz and Ahmad Faiz. The most comprehensive translated version of the great epic by the Polish writer was originally written by Maharishi Valmiki in Sanskrit. (Wishesh AarKay)
