After extensive walking in Maro Praja Prasthanam, the YSR Congress leader Sharmila was suffering from an acute knee problem. The leader was to undergo, a keyhole operation at one of the city hospitals today (December 18).
However, before the operation Sharmila went to the Chenchaguda central prison where her brother and the YSRC supremo Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was lodged. The siblings seem to have had a brief meeting that extended for nearly an hour.
On her way back, the leader was unavailable for comments. Observers feel that the future course of action to seek public justice would have been the main agenda.
As Sharmila would not be able to take up the walkathon for another one month or so till she recovers. The leader had a freak minor accident at L B Nagar which led to the injury. She has been on the massive padayatra for the last one month and garnered excellent response from the public too. (Wishesh AarKay)
