Sadist goes berserk in a school by spilling erratic bullets from his guns killing 27. America woke up to a rude shock on an incident that occurred in Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut's New Town, on Friday morning.
Twenty year old, Adam Lanza, a teacher's son, armed with two guns entered a nursery class and started firing, killing 27 people, including his mother. The incident claimed the lives of 18 toddlers and 9 staff. Police claim that it is one of the most grueling incident in US history.
After the shoot out Lanza shot himself and died on the spot. The whole place was cordoned off by security forces. Deaths toll might increase as the school has a strength of six hundred students, claim sources. As a precautionary steps all the schools in these parts were closed for the day.
Records suggest that this was the second-deadliest school shooting in U.S. history, behind only the 2007 shooting at Virginia Tech that left 32 people dead. The government seems to be seriously pondering over the frequent upheaval of such incidents in the recent past.
