A boat, which was trapped in Godavari waters, has created tension across the state this evening. A ferry carrying nearly 100 persons from Papikondalu to Devipatnam got struck in waters due to a technical snag. The boat was said to have stranded for about an hour following which a team reportedly reached the boat and repaired the engine. The reports at 06.30 pm indicated that the boat was back to normal and was heading towards banks.
